From fund raising support to contract management, to owner’s representation services during design and construction, Acila has provided project and program management across two major construction and remodel projects for FamilyWorks.

Mt Baker Housing engaged Acila Consulting to develop interactive design guidelines and create a record of client design decisions across the most recent large projects. This provided a standard specification and design guidelines that could be distributed to architects and contractors at the beginning of projects and enabled more informed early pricing guidance. This work also streamlined MBH operations and management of design and construction teams and established consistency in products and materials across projects.

Since 2020 Acila Consulting has provided ongoing Project Management/Owner’s Representative support for 25 different capital projects at the Renton School District. Acila works closely with the entire Capital Projects team to backfill where staffing shortages and busy construction seasons have caused the need to supplement with outside help.

Acila was brought on to develop and manage the program for mechanical upgrades at multiple clinics, and to ensure that all project activities followed a specific organization required by the unique funding structure. While also providing Owner’s Representation services, Acila built an infrastructure that organized all the projects under one pogram, schedule and budget.

As the Director of Operations and Project Delivery through consulting with Acila, Marlo provided services in developing and implementing the project delivery process for this construction materials start-up. Consulting Services were tailored to the delivery of Kova-branded building products and associated installation services on large commericlal and multifamily construction.

PRC is a new general construction firm for single family residences in the northern California region. PRC reached out to Acila to help build their contracting and project management approach, set up initial operations, and participate in outreach to new and potential clients.

A popular local retail store that offers interior design and remodel management services brought Acila on board to build out process to manage their incoming clients and current projects. Through implementing an operating model, training staff in project management best practices, creating a system of new contracts, and identifing opportunities to automate, Acila enabled a more profitable and efficient business model for the Conservatory Team.

Acila was brought on to enable and support Hiya’s major office move to a downtown seattle high-rise. Acila managed contracts and scope for a team of vendors, contractors, designers, and IT professionals. With a tight schedule and a minimal start-up budget, Acila’s team ensured Hiya was up and running in their new space for an important all-hands office event just 60 days after engaging Acila for project management services.
