My Story

As a licensed architect, I have been a creator and designer my whole career—but my most inspiring work pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the method and management of the design and construction process.

I founded Acila Consulting with the goal of applying project and program management techniques that push the conventions for how to run projects, process and teams and ensure teams are always oriented around a client’s project goals. I apply innovative practices that streamline and reduce risk in the the teams I work with.  Today AEC firms are navigating the changes brought on by rapidly advancing technology, teams working remotely, and a quickly evolving industry.  Simply working the way we always have does not meet today’s AEC challenges.

I have worked at established architecture firms and at a construction tech start-ups, involved hands-on in projects as well as team building and operations.  My varied industry knowledge and instinct for business means that I bring a unique perspective to project and team management as an agent of change—driving efficiency, innovation, and profit into the project process.
